FURNITURE TRENDS 2007

Do you like watching HGTV as much as i do?...well iF YOU do you're in luck i was able to catch the international furniture show 2007 that took place in high point NC..HERE'S what i took from the show:

• 40s hollywood glamour...curves...deeper chairs...tufting...placing a daybed/chaise lounge in the living room or bedroom....faux fur...stringray...WHAT IS IT velvet...crystal (urban outfitters or anthropologie)
• black & white
• eco-friendly furniture made of cork...teak...and bamboo GO GREEN
• ethnic fabrics...distressed woods (pier1 or world marke)
• capiz...it's everywhere...you can find it at westelm...pier1...even target
• BLUE IS BACK every hue from light to navy
